The space turned out beautiful! I am halfway through painting our dining room this same color when I stumbled upon your blog. Do you mind sharing what finish you used? We have a satin which I love for the walls but don’t love for the trim as it peels off so easily and doesn’t feel great to my hands. With two young kids and a dog am thinking I may need to use a semi-gloss or gloss for just the trim but really want a uniform look with the walls. Ahh decisions, decisions.

Thank you! I don't have the can anymore but I found an old picture--looks like I used matte. It has held up well! But we don't touch the walls often. I agree semi-gloss could be good for the trim!

Love the Peppercorn. I have Tricorn Black in our main level and it is definitely a jet black. This is a lovely color, too--I might use it in our downstairs powder room!

Thank you Katie! The hutch is one of my favorite pieces too. You can't see it in these pictures, but my husband also added casters to to bottom of it. Its fun!
